Diákjaink írták

Az angol nyelvi előkészítő osztályban, heti tizenkettő órában tanuljuk az angol nyelvet. Én is ebbe az osztályba járok, és most szeretnék egy pár sort írni arról, hogy a tananyag megtanulásán kívül, mivel szoktunk még foglalkozni az angol órákon.
Szerencsére az órák nem csak a kemény tanulásról és munkáról szólnak, hanem az angol nyelv „gyakorlásáról” is, játékos formában. Szoktunk például angolul rejtvényeket fejteni. Szerintem ez azért fontos, mert ki lehet egy kicsit úgymond „zökkenni” a tanulásból, de közben mégis gyakoroljuk az angol nyelvet. (például, sokszor előfordulnak a rejtvényekben olyan szavak, amelyek a tankönyvben nem szerepelnek, és ezáltal bővíthetjük szókincsünket.)
A rejtvények általában olyan típusúak, amelyekben magyarul vannak megadva a szavak, és ezeknek az angol megfelelőjét kell helyesen beírni. A megfejtés gyakran egy viccnek a folytatása, akárcsak egy magyar rejtvényben.
Mint például az egyik rejtvény megoldása a következő volt:
Waiter! I have ordered this spaghetti four times!
Really! I am glad you like it so much
(Pincér! Én ezt a spagettit már 4-szer rendeltem.
Valóban?! Én úgy gondolom, hogy nagyon szereti ezt.

Lisa goes to London

Lisa’s parents were in the kitchen and had breakfeast, when Lisa had a letter. She won the international short story competition and a free trip to London.
On Monday morning she arrived at the Heathrow airport. She met Diana. Diana was her guide. They went to the Hotel in Lisa’s room. The view was wonderful. Lisa saw the Hyde Park with Serpentine Lake. Lisa’s hobby is photography. They went to the Hotel lounge. Diana introduced Lisa to the other finalists. Lisa met Sergio Lars and Nadia. Nadia’s hobby is photography, too. Diana and the children went to sightseeing.
First they went to the tube. Diana told about the tube for the children. The finalists and their guide went to the Trafalgar Square. In the square stand the Nelson’s column and four big lions. They could feed the pigeons and took some pictures. Nadia took a picture about Lisa, because she sat a big lion and fed a pigeon on her arm. Everybody had a good time.
On Tuesday the children went to the Tower of London. Diana told about some information the Tower of London. The children took some pictures about the Beefeaters. They smiled at the children. Inside the Tower of London Diana showed them the crown jewels. Lisa closed her eyes and imagined: She was the Queen of England. She wore the jewels. At 1 o’clock the children were hungry. They went to a restaurant. The boys ate hamburgers and cheeseburgers, but Lisa didn’t like those. Nadia and Lisa ate pizza, and Nadia drank a glass of orange juice. Diana ate fish and chips, because the English people like fish and chips. When they left the restaurant Lisa was very sad, because she lost her camera. Sergio took pictures from Lisa.
On Wednesday morning they went to the Madam Tussaud’s Museum. Diana bought eleven tickets. In the museum they saw the waxworks of many famous people. After they went to the Chamber of Horrors. A girl screamed because she was afraid! The other children laughed. They liked the Chamber of Horrors.
On Tuesday they went to Harrods. Lisa bought a new pretty dress. The children were very tired. They were to the coffee bar to relax. Sergio bought a T-shirt. It has got the British flag. Nadia bought a cup it has got the British flag, too.
On Friday evening the children waited Dina outside the Hotel. Diana arrived with some taxi. They went to the theater by taxi. Diana has got tickets for a musical. The theater was beautiful and it was full of people. All of people like the show. Lisa was quiet. She lost her camera she didn’t take any pictures.
On Saturday morning they visited the London Zoo. A man showed them some snakes in the reptile house. Sergio sad “ah”, because he afraid of snakes. Nadia touched the green snake. She liked it. Diana showed the animals to the children. Lisa saw a little monkey when it ate a banana. An other monkey threw nuts at a girl she sad “ouch”. The other children laughed, but a girl was sad. Diana asked for her: Why are you sad?? The girl answered: Because tomorrow is our last day in London.
On Sunday the children were in the Hotel lounge. They were in the final of the competition all children were very excited. The judge gave everybody a little prize, but the first prize was a new camera. Lisa won the first prize.
The children and Diana were in the Heathrow airport. They were very happy, because everybody liked London, but they were very sad to, because their trip was over. Everybody waived goodbye from Diana.
Lisa was on the plane. She took a last picture with her new camera from London. She sad for herself: Goodbye everybody! Goodbye London!

Nekem azért tetszett ez az egész, mert mással is foglakozunk. Valami újdonsággal, ami sokunkat érdekel. Ezért is nagyon jó hogy nyelvi előkészítős vagyok, mert mi nem mindig azzal foglakozunk, amivel kell, hanem valami extrával is. Most például húsvéti plakátot fogunk készíteni. Már voltak az iskolában angolok és igen jól megértettük őket. Nagyon jól szórakoztunk. És nagyon sok órán fejtünk angol rejtvényeket. Ez a könyv London érdekességeit mutatja be, és azoknak ajánlom, akik többet szeretnének megtudni Londonról. Akik egyszer ki akarnak majd menni Londonba ezt a könyvet feltétlenül, olvassa el, mert bár játékosan mégis megismerteti olvasójával London érdekességeit.

Lisa is goes to London

Lisa and her parents were at home. Lisa held a letter. She was a finalist in the international short story competition. Lisa’s parents was very happy. She must was in London on Monday. It was Monday morning and Lisa was at Healthrow Airport in London. A young woman walked toward Lisa. She was her guide. They went to her hotel. Lisa looked out of the window. It was a wonderful view. She saw Hyde Park and the Serpentine Lake. She met other finalists in the hotel. Diana introduced Lisa to them. Lisa was shy. One girl went near Lisa. She intoduced oneself. Photography was them hobby. They went a tube station. They went to Trafalgar Square. They saw Nelson’s Column. There were four big lions in Trafalgar Square. Lisa set on one of them. The children took pictures. Diana and the children went at the Tower of London. Some children took pictures of a Beefeater. Diana showed them the Crown Jewels. They were very old and expensive. Day after, they were at a restaurant. The boys ate hamburgers and cheeseburgers. Lisa and Nadia ate pizza. Lisa lost her camera. Next day, Diana and the children were in Baker Street. They were in front of Madame Tussaud’s Museum. It is a waxworks museum. They went into the Chamber of Horrors. They were afraid. The following day, they went shopping. They were in Harrods. This is a very big store. Lisa bought a blue dress. They were tired but happy. They drank orange juice in the Harrods coffee bar. The children had a lot of nice things. After evening, they went to the theatre. They saw a very popular show. The morning after, the children visited London Zoo. They were in the reptile house. They saw crocodiles, alligators and snakes. Diana showed the animals to the children. Next day was the final of the competition in the hotel. They were very excited. The first prize was a wonderful camera. The winner was Lisa. The children claped. „Thank you”- said Lisa. The children were at Heathrow Airport. They waved goodbye to Diana. „Goodbey everybody! Goodbey London”- said Lisa.
